Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I love their matcha oat milk but cannot reduce the sweetness level. Their mario bun emmm no cheese and pistachio taste. The bun is tasty though. And osbel is too sweet for me."
"Located near to several convenient shops. There is another bakery shop-corner inside Osbel. Hot matcha latte taste good, but a little less sugar would be better. Price wise, super reasonable. Hot drinks cost less than RM10. There are charging plug points at the corner tables."
"My first time. It wasn't bad. The drinks is relatively cheaper compared to other cafe. Quite affordable. The environment is total a win. Cold and comfortable with a clean outlook. Other than that, the food variety is wide as not only from the cafe itself, there is a bread store joint with it too. For me, the demerits are the drink is too sweet but I didn't adjust the sweetness as its on normal sugar level. (noted that you can make it less sweet). In addition, the tart is also quite sweet for me. The muffin is too dry for me ( 6 out of 10 for the muffin)"
"Irresistible, that's one word to describe about the place. Having to share Mr. Bread on the front side of the shop, you can't missed those breads & pastries, seatings arranged deep inside, this definitely a place to indulge alone or chit chat w friends. I love the ambience and the comforting services, a must come and bonus for the Kingfisher-ians.. My sister all the way from Sandakan thinks that this is the best place to be in town."
"I love this place so much for three reasons: 1. The foods are delicious, delightful, fabulous, exquisite, SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS– However, it is a bit pricey, but it is to be expected from a well known branded cafe. 2. I love this place specifically because of the upstairs room/second floor. A very calm, cozy and quiet place to just relax, eat and read. It's also cool and nice, a great place to seek refuge, especially under the afternoon heat. I've noticed there's a discussion table here where I've seen numerous times people use it, which makes me happy to know it brings people together. Other than that, there are sockets everywhere, very convenient for charging phone/laptop. 3. The most crucial, single-handedly best thing, my reason to live, the main purpose I visit this place time and time again is because it has most of the HARRY POTTER BOOKS I'm too broke to afford the actual books. So every chance I get, I'd come here just to read THAT. So Osbel, PLEASE. Don't ever remove your books or I'll be sad There are also other interesting books to read from: comics, children books, magazines, Disney villains what if's and so much more! As a book enthusiast, I highly recommend coming here for a read or you can just chill, enjoy the food and drinks while doing your work."
"It was my first time coming here and I was surprised by the homey interior, wide variety of menus and how affordable they are. For example, my fresh milk brown sugar with pearl I believe it costs RM 9. The drink is not too sweet which is good. I ordered Korean garlic cheese bread as well. The cafe smells like bakery, which is so relaxing The"
"The drink is so nice. Not to sweet not to tasteless, the taste is just nice aka so-so in a good way. The dessert too so delicious. My favorite is strawberry danish, it so soft and the topping so full, i dunno how to express the taste, but yeah that is how i feel, u gotta taste that when u go there, it have various flavour thought and many other dessert too. Thinking about it make me hungry . The price is affordable, for those who afraid its expensive, don't worry not all is expensive. The price is so-so."
"Osbel Cafe offers a mixed experience. If you're a fan of thick, robust coffee, you might find their brew a bit underwhelming, as I did. The cakes are decent, not exceptional in taste, but they come in generously large portions. One of the highlights is the ambiance—it's a pleasant place to relax and enjoy some downtime. Additionally, the cafe has an adjoining bread shop, which is a nice touch. Another plus is their closing time; they're open until 9:30 PM, which is later than most other coffee shops in the area. Overall, Osbel Cafe is a decent spot for a casual visit, especially if you're looking for a comfortable atmosphere."
